Elon Musk says Twitter to change logo, bids farewell to ‘all the birds’

Elon Musk recently disclosed that Twitter is planning to alter its iconic bird logo. In a tweet shared on Sunday morning, the billionaire owner stated that the Twitter brand, along with all bird-related elements, will soon bid farewell.

Musk further added in a subsequent tweet that if a compelling X logo is submitted tonight, they will promptly implement it globally by the following day.

Under Musk’s leadership since October 2022, Twitter has undergone several noteworthy transformations.

The company officially changed its business name to X Corp, aligning with Musk’s vision to create a multifunctional “super app” similar to China’s WeChat.

One memorable change occurred in April, when the bird logo was temporarily replaced by Dogecoin’s shiba inu dog, contributing to a significant surge in the meme coin’s market value.

Moreover, the company stirred controversy with its recent decision to impose daily limits on the number of tweets various accounts can read.

This move reportedly spurred the creation of a rival service called Threads, owned by Meta, which astonishingly garnered 100 million sign-ups within just five days of its launch
