Liverpool has emerged as the most recent club rumored to be interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

Reportedly, Nottingham Forest has reached an agreement on personal terms with the Nigerian footballer,

who is receptive to the idea of joining their team.

Discussions between Forest and Leicester City are ongoing to finalize the transfer.

The Independent suggests that Liverpool is contemplating a move for Ndidi before the upcoming Friday transfer window closure.

Despite adding Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo to their midfield this summer,

Liverpool is reportedly seeking additional options in that position.

With less than a year left on his contract, Ndidi could potentially leave Leicester City if the right offer comes along.
