Senator Remi Tinubu, Nigeria’s first lady, has emphasized that President Bola Tinubu cannot perform magic.

She made these remarks during her address at the interdenominational church service held in Abuja on Sunday to commemorate Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.

Mrs. Tinubu discussed the current state of the nation, emphasizing that the current administration inherited the existing challenges.

She emphasized that her husband is committed to resolving these issues methodically without assigning blame to past administrations.

“We’ve inherited challenges that have accumulated over the years. Instead of laying blame on previous administrations,

our focus is on repairing what has been damaged. My husband is not a magician,

but he is dedicated to working towards a peaceful future for our country.

I believe the best is yet to come,” she stated.

George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), also addressed the congregation and appealed to Nigerians for patience,

acknowledging that Nigeria’s complex problems cannot be solved instantly. He reassured that measures are already being implemented to address these issues.

“Solutions to Nigeria’s intricate problems cannot be achieved as quickly as some might hope.

It will take time, but we are actively implementing measures to tackle them,” he affirmed.
