Murder and Arrest

During a parade on Thursday, DSP Muhammed Jalidge, the spokesperson for the Kaduna State Police Command, announced the arrest of 503 suspects involved in a range of offenses such as banditry, cattle rustling, culpable homicide, and other related crimes

The arrests were made within a span of one month. Among the individuals paraded was Ismail Mohammed from Maijere Village in Saminaka, Lere Local Government Area of the state. Mohammed had kidnapped and subsequently murdered his brother, Kabiru Mohammed, after extorting a ransom of N120,000 from their family.

The suspects were found in possession of various weapons and money.

Jalidge emphasized the Command’s commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of law-abiding citizens in Kaduna State, leading to the apprehension of these individuals involved in armed banditry, armed robbery, handset/handbag snatching, cattle rustling, culpable homicide, rape, shop breaking, theft, vandalism of rail tracks, and other related crimes.
