Mmesoma Reverses Statement, Claims Receipt of JAMB Text Message Indicating Score of 249

JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, previously disclosed that the candidate had sent multiple messages to the board’s automated telecoms system, which included the results indicating an aggregate score of 362.

In response, Mmesoma clarified that she had only sent a single SMS to JAMB through its support system, stating, “That’s the only SMS I sent there.”

When asked if she received any response, she replied,

“They failed to respond despite the fact that I sent a text message, which they could have easily noticed if they checked their JAMB Support System. Their lack of response persists.”

Regarding the assertion that she utilized an Airtel line, Mmesoma affirmed, “Yes,” but clarified that it was not done through a USSD code.

“I used the USSD code to check the score of 360,” she elaborated.

In response to the assertion that the feedback received from JAMB indicated her score as 249, she acknowledged it.

“Yes,” she confirmed. “Once everything was finalized, I discovered that my score was indeed 249.

I reached out to JAMB through their Support System via text message to inquire about the situation.

If they check their records, they will find the evidence.”
As reported, the 19-year-old student from Anambra has been the subject of controversy due to accusations of manipulating her UTME score.
